From the breathtaking tranquillity of Tuscany's wineries to sailboat living in Seychelles and scenic hut trekking in British Columbia's mountains, Sofya tells stories that inspire people to connect with the natural world and follow the spirit of adventure.
A world traveller with 39 countries checked off her map, Sofya has worked with travel providers and luxury tourism destinations in Italy, Russia, Seychelles, South Africa and others, and has been featured in multiple publications around the world. A host of a major documentary exhibition and fundraiser, “Tales of Ecuador” in Vancouver, she always aims to create meaning with her work, whether through giving back to local communities or creating international impact.
Now based on the unceded lands of Musquem, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations (Lower Mainland, Vancouver), Sofya works on intersections of documentary, travel and fine art photography. Her art aims to encourage people to live to the fullest by exploring meaningfully and engaging deeply with natural wonders and destinations around the world.
